I only paid $155 as well on May 15th.. does that mean my application will be rejected too because I didn't pay the extra $100? There has been no message or prompt from CIC asking me for it.. how should I go about this?

It wont get rejected, but it might possible get delayed (not 100% sure how CIC works).

I payed it because I thought since they are going to ask me anyway, why not just pay it and give them one less reason to delay my application. Although I'm not sure if that's advisable, or speeds up anything.

If your individual processing time/day count exceeds the current CIC processing time of WP, please take the initiative to seek help from your Member of Parliament (MP) within your constituency (or residential area). Gather all evidence including your application number and let your MP know about your situation. 5. If you paid only $155 and never paid the extra $100 for all OWP holders, please visit these two sites to pay and upload the remaining balance (receipt):
a) Online Payment at: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en. Once you are there follow the instructions below:
Click continue below > Accept disclaimer > Immigration > Temporary residence > Open work permit holder fee > type 1 for number of
applications > Submit > Pay. You will be asked to register on the online payment system in case you are not.

b) Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) at: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?_ga=1.63908399.108801500.1431902909
Use this online form to upload the PDF receipt you received. First fill in your UCI, address, phone etc. Scan and upload it to the CSE.
Also, type a short precise message (in the message box) indicating your reasons. In that message don't forget to include your online
Application Number that begins with a W.

6. ** New TRV for those who want to travel after receiving their PGWP. Processing fee is $100 (the required docs for application include; passport copy, face/head photograph, IMM5257E form, and a copy of your PGWP). Please be aware that your PGWP doesn't give you the right to return to Canada. You need a new TRV that you apply for as a worker NOT as a student. To get more information on applying for a new TRV from WITHIN Canada, please go to: https://www.google.com/search?q=apply+for+new+TRV+within+Canada&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=Apply+for+new+TRV+from+within+Canada.

7. Unless its a family emergency, please make your travel plans carefully and wisely.

Hi everyone. I am so confused and anxious, and I would really appreciate some advice and suggestions.

I successfully defended my thesis and my Thesis Approval/Program Completion form was submitted to Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research at my university on September 16. My final draft of thesis was submitted and accepted by the university archive on September 21. On my student account page on my university web system, it shows Graduate Program Completed.

I was too eager to start working full-time, so I did not think carefully. I made a serious mistake! I submitted my Post Graduation Work Permit application this morning. For Proof of Completed Studies, I chose OTHER and uploaded the Thesis Approval/ Program Completion form and the unofficial record of my grades. Afterwards, I realized I should have submitted an Official Transcript and a Letter from my institution confirming I have completed my studies. I had assumed that my Thesis Approval/Program Completion form can substitute that letter.

Now I am so worried about getting a refusal letter from CIC for not submitting an official transcript or a letter from my institution.

If I wait for a few more months until I get the decision, it will be too late because it will pass the 90 days period and my Study Permit will have already expired.

Please give me some advice and suggestions about what I can do.

These are some options I am thinking of at this moment:

1) Withdraw my online application and then submit another online application with all proper supporting documents (official transcript, letter from institution). Should I call the Call Centre or should I just submit a Case Specific Enquiry form?

2) Flag-polling at a border: Do you happen to know a border closest to Edmonton? Do I need to already work full-time to help my husband get his OWP? Should I keep my online application and start working full-time right away and bring a pay stub and my contract of employment with me? With only a job offer and without a pay stub, can I help him get his OWP?

Both options 1 & 2 are good. If you choose option 2, I would suggest you take the time to read page 15 and onward of the this PGWP forum to know more about FP and Members' experiences. Option 2 is for not having to wait and need to save your job or get job for your spouse.
