I applied for PNP in March and I got my File Number later than those who applied in May.

It is pure luck.

Really hard to cheer up when you are having almost daily conversations with your HR manager. You says something like "you are a good worker but we have policies and technically your temporary appointment finishes with your permit".

Nice work! Velaar. I might lose my dream job too, so tired of listening from CIC call center, " you may also have to take upto 10 days even on the web the showed they have deal the case within your application time.

I applied Online, and I called them yesterday they said dont pay the 100$ unless they notify you!

I really don't want to share the negative feelings, usually I am an optimistic girl. But this time, I am so frustrated and tired of contact them. I used worked for government, and I know how they functioned. They have a 30mins break morning and afternoon, and also according to my colleague, people in Ottawa branch also take 45-60 mins lunch break. They usually don't do overtimes, coz the paid for that was really high and government don't want to pay that. They also have Edos, so it is really possible for everything for this efficient less government. There is nothing to check for the post graduate work permit, all the India and background screening are done by computer, they probably only need to check the letter of completion, and it takes more than 80 days to complete. How idiot are they? Retarded?

I have called to CIC today and asked twice if I can continue my work under implied status if the new documents do not arrive by June 30. The representative said _yes_.

As for the processing times - they really have a problem there. It seems that after introduction of this $100 fee that have to go over each dossier 2-3 times.
She said that even published dates are approximate and it can take up to 10 days before they contact me the first time.
I have explicitly asked is there is any way to submit a $100 open-work permit holder fee before they contact me and she said no.

I think they are gust processing these applications in the same priority as all other more difficult ones.
And yes it takes maybe 20 minutes to process PGWP but we still need to wait until other and more difficult applications are processed. Especially the ones that need employer contribution.

I called CIC today was told they are working on applications up to March 13th. The guy told me my application will be processed in a week.....Lets wait and see.

There should be at least 30 days in order to extend your status, shouldn't it?

Yes but when i spoke to the rep he said i should still apply as long as its within the validity of my permit. The 30 days i believe is that there is enough time. Funny thing is i had finished my application a long time ago. When i was going to pay initially the extra $100 didnt show up. I had to wait a dbit and get a representative.

Tried paying again and it jumped to $255

CIC published an update today, and the dates under "Working on applications submitted on" haven't changed at all for Work permit.

It is still March 13.

+1 day (comparing to a screenshot taken yesterday) on study permit.

Still in talks with my current employer on implied status.
