I asked this question in the other topic, but since this topic is for people who have applied for Caring for children class, I'll post my question here as well.

I applied for permanent residence under the Caring For Children class last week, and yesterday I received a letter from CIC that says that I meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status in this class. But also this letter contains the following:

In order to continue processing your application in Canada, further information is required. You must complete/submit the following information to the Case Processing Centre:
[X] The family member(s) you have listed on your application are required to undergo immigration examination pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations whether or not they have been included for concurrent processing for permanent residence. Failure to comply with our instructions may result in your application for permanent residence being refused. Our office in Warsaw will be contacting your family members.

I have only one dependent - my husband. What does immigration examination mean? Definitely it's not medical exam because we both (me and my husband) had taken medical exam just before I applied for PR. I've searched through this forum and found that some people also received such requirements, but no one finally said - what are these requirements about?

If somebody received such a letter, please share your experience. Tell me whether your local immigration office (mine is in Warsaw) have contacted to you and what documents or actions have they requested from you?

Today already 13 months..... Who can help me and my family... Only GOD !
Dear officials, on your official website you have mentioned :
“Complete applications under the new pathways will be processed within 6 months. (How long will it take CIC to process applications under the Caring for Children or the Caring for People with High Medical Needs pathways?).”
I sent my documents already 1 year ago, on 2 September, 2015. Only after 50 days, on 22 October, 2015, I have received confirmation letter !!!!! (usually letter from Toronto to CIC taking 2-3 days).
Already I am waiting for 11 months.
I wrote letter to the Minister of Immigration, couple letters to Immigration office and receive the same answer: “Your application is in the process” and nothing more explanation, why does it take more time to process the application, than time mentioned in official web site? And only after 8 month after all my complain, they send me letter about additional documents they need !!! It is additional 3 months!!!
I know also people, whose process has been lasting over 8 months. They are afraid to write about it in the forum because they are afraid to voice out there issues, since they may have to deal with immigration service payback. They continue to live in fear.
There are people in form, who state that their process was complete in 1 month. I think it is a way government advertises the program. But reality is that there are more people whose process lasted more than 8 months.
Dear officials, Why did you write false information on your official website ?

Yes, your visa office in Warsaw will email you regarding the documents you need to submit.

When you received an email that says that you application has been completed, the next step - you received an interview appointment to finalize your application. This interview appointment was also sent via email or it was sent to you via usual post?

I think it's always thru email. I myself is also waiting for my interview schedule.

it will the 4th week next week so I plan to send an email and inquire. my immigration centre is Ottawa.

It'll be 5 weeks for me tomorrow. I made a call to CIC 2 days ago and they said it usually takes 1 month to get an interview for my visa centre (Etobicoke, Toronto) and some additional time to get documents from Vegreville to Toronto. So you may send an inquiry or to wait another one week...

July 12-sent my application
July 13- cic recieved my application via fed ex
July 13- started processing (ecas)
July 16- received first AOR via email
July 19- received eligibility letter
July 25- received email stating that my application has been completed and I should wait for cic to send me another email for my interview schedule , passport requested for husband, pr fee for me and my husband
July 26- email for interview schedule
August 2- had my interview
GOD IS GOOD!!!!

Hello, may I ask you how long after your interview did you get the PR card? THANKS!
