ugh. the wife's visa is expiring on December 5th. We are deciding whether to just let it expire and wait for PR or to get another one. We need it to go to the states, because without it she cant get back in the country.

I guess I am next, our timelines are very close. I don't really know what is next but I think your wife will get a date for an interview next and it will be to get the permanent resident card if they approve it of course. But for they will approve it since you got that letter.
Congratulations again !! I can't wait for mine.

haven't received anything Joey. I didn't get a pre arrival services letter. My file was transferred to etobicoke office the same day I got the eligibility letter. Congrats on getting eligibility letter.

Hello there, someone sent me to this topic.

Has anyone been in this situation?

I am gathering my documents for the PR and OWP(old pathway) but I don´t have a signed statement of earning of my first employer (I have ROE and T4), I try to contact them but they haven't responded any of my emails or calls.

I called CIC (immigration) and they told me that I should write a letter explaining why I don't have the statement of earnings sign for my employer but the person wasn't sure if the government will accept the letter.

Does anyone know what should I do?

Please, I need advice, I have completed 24 months already to apply but I am afraid if the government doesn't consider the time worked with the first employer.

Also, does anyone know how long is the process taking since I am applying by myself without any family member?

Thanks in advance.

How did you solve this please?

Hi hay04,
I figured out that the statement of earning didn't have to be signed by the employer so I did it myself with the information on the ROE and T4.
Thank you lisaar, can you brief me on how to go about it as I'm in the same situation, will be applying in january under the 24months category.
