It seems that none of us have news for this past two weeks! May be some officers have summer vacations?
This is my time line:
Sent OWP/PR application on March 17th
AOR June 30st
OWP July 19 (but it was made on July 7th)
Eligibility email August 5 (no decision made yet)

How long did you have to wait after you send the application?

Congratulations and thanks for the update AnaG.
For some reason nobody is updating here. Maybe is because they havent have news yet. AT my end NOTHING, no news.
The only thing is that I got another open work permit!!!! I have two now! It is very confusing but they seem a bit different so I guess there was a mistake in the first one or something like that.

CIC recieved: February 26th
AOR: Never received
Date they started to procces my app: April 13th ( I found the info online in the "check your online status" on CIC web page..)
Received an OWP: June 3rd
Confirmation of PR app completed: June 21st (email)
Confirmation of PR appointment: June 24th (email)
PR appointment: July 12th ( signed )

this is not related to PR app, but does anyone knows when are we eligible to apply for citizenship after receiving PR...or if someone knows the link where are I can check it. When I was signing for PR they told us we can apply after 4months....but on cic site is totally different info...

AnaG, I only read the CIC website which says you have several yrs in Canada as a PR pero aparentemente Trudeau wants to change that law for applicants to be able to use the yrs they were in Canada as workers towards Citizenship. I wonder why he said 4 months!? It would be great.

I am filling up the forms for the OWP/PR
I am choosing option 1
For the 24 month requirement, how do we count it?
I started working on the 1st of August 2014 ( does that mean 2 years is aug 31,2016? )
For the PR application,
The checklist asks for ' Original police certificates of ALL family members ' and
"TWO passport photos of ALL Family Members in Canada "
In my case I am a SINGLE applicant ( not married no kids ) but everyone of my family ( Parents and Siblings ) are here in Canada, does that mean I have to ask my family members to provide that for me?
