You can go directly to Service Canada and they will give you your new SIN. As for the health card I haven't renewed mine yet but I would check the registry when I get the chance I was informed a little late about that. But there's no rush for me.

Nothing really serious. They just asked the ones they had in their forms. If you had been convicted, refused entry or have serious illness. And something about your information just to verify that all the information is correct. Right there and then they would stamp your passport and give you your landing certificate. It took me 30 minutes because there was a line up when I came. And then I went directly to Service Canada and they gave me new SIN. That's it. All done in an hour.

It's just the stamp of the date when you landed. They won't give you VISA since you're already PR you can just show them the landing confirmation when you travel outside of Canada. For the dependents I have no idea because I don't have any. But I can ask my friends once they have theirs. Usually it varies for example how many people are scheduled for interview. There are other applicants here who applied a week later than me but was interviewed a week earlier than me because the immigration office they are assigned to are not fully booked. Pasensya na inenglish ko na for the benefit of other people who wants to know the same information.

Hi everyone, I'm a new member to this forum and I want to share my timeline and ask question

I am under the old pathway, option 1-24 months, with 2 dependent kids, divorce (I'm only waiting for the certificate so I can submit it also)

PR and OWP sent: April 26, 2016
CIC received: April 27, 2016
Email confirmation: June 22, 2016

How long it will take to get my OWP and request for medical for my dependents? then what's next?

I wanted to ask you guys if any of you havent got the AOR. I applied in mid March and I never got it, that worries me A LOT. I do not know if that is normal or not. I am worried that my application could be lost.

they sent me the AOR by email (June 30). Finally!!! A bit of peace of mind.
My PR/OWP application arrived there around March 20 so it took them a bit over 3 months to send me the AOR.

Question for you guys:

if the PR application is incomplete and some more documents are requested, do they still send you the OWP?

at first if you have lacking requirements they will return your application like mine i forget to fill up my husband form.

Good day! I have a question...
For applying for PR/OWP under the livein caregiver, do we need to get a criminal record check fromCanada? Or just the one from the country where we came from? ( police certificate )
