My PR application got rejected yesterday.

Anyone has any advice? I'm in Toronto. I've already contacted some Immigration Lawyers and I'm just waiting to hear back. I had submitted my application back in April 2015.

frenchy sorry to hear that. is your visa entry to Canada is caregiver? if not. that would be the reason. i suggest to ask any help from immigration lawyer.
can i ask you? what is your visa before entering Canada?

LETTER always they will send.

You are not a member of the class because you have not complied with the requirements for
membership in the class as described in paragraph 112 of the Regulations, and as required by
Paragraph 115 of the Regulations. Specifically, you did not apply for, nor were you examined
for admission into the Live-in Caregivers Program before entering Canada
Based on the information that is available, I am not satisfied that you or your family members
are not inadmissible and that you meet the requirements of the Act. Your application for
permanent residence in Canada as a member of the live-in caregiver class is refused.
You must leave Canada on or before the expiry of your current document or, if your document
has expired, you must leave Canada immediately. Failure to do so could result in enforcement
action being taken against you..

I had a one year working-holiday visa when I applied for the LCP.

Tell your employer now to get another LMIA for you then bring it with you to your homeland then start over again. If you cant do it. better you ask any lawyer for that. Wasting of time if you will go home. We will pray for you.

Have u guys notice that the pr application processing time for lcp had increased to 48 months on March 1 st. Wow. This is crazy

That's means your initial visa here is not live in caregiver program might as well apply for the new caregiver pathways no need to do start all over again just submit another application pay another fee.
