Let share Preparations/Timelines for 2015 Live In Caregiver PR/OWP Applications

Me too. It's taking forever this time. I have a friend who got her PR 8 months after submission. I filed on June 29 and 8 months later, nothing. How I wish we'll get ours soon

Guys my application has been returned reasons are 1. I forgot to include my husband IMM 5669E and IMM 5406. 2.payment instead of 155 i only paid 100. 3. They told me to file a restoration of my temporary resident status. Now im worried because they will give me 90 days from the end of my visa which is Dec 31. My question is. do i have to continue my application as OWP/PR option 2? Or i have to change my application to option 1?. What may happened to my application i know what God planned on me. Just pray for me guys. God bless us all.

Hi Esil, im so sorry for what had happened to your application. Are you in BC? May ma sa-suggest ako na non profit prganization to help you sa case mo, they can help you make cover letters etc, check your document etc. before you submit it again.

I lack 6 weeks to complete the 24 months requirement to apply for OWP/PR
WP expires on June 15,2016
Thus I need to apply for my WP extension
Is it advisable to have uprfront medical and NBI for just the WP extension?

Cic said I can always use the same medical if I apply for OWP in September

We r still waiting since our medical have been expired from 16-17 months ...new delhi sent nothing after that...not even a single person get any information.we hv tried so many times to contact the new delhi visa officevia emails and mails...bt nothing happens...even we hv tried emailing to vegrevilla which also gone in wein ..u know what a reply vegrivla send us,,we have been emailed new delhi so many times everytime the mentioned that we are checking backgrounds...from last 2 years..still waiting nothing comes...new delhi canadian embassy completely stopped the processing of live in care givers(nannies)...plzz help us with signing the petition...hope it may awake the government and we may get any good news from embassy. ministers will hlp us if u grouped with us. we also r human beings moreover we r providing care to other people.many thanks in advance...plzz guys hlp us in faith of humanity

hi you dont need to. write a letter of explanation that you are not going to have medical since you had that already when you came here in Canada. and attach it in your application. Goodluck

Just want to share my timeline

09-Nov-2015 (denied and returned application)
Reasons: 1. IMM 5406 & IMM 5669 for husband 2. Payment 155 not 100
25-Feb-2016 app resubmitted Received by CPC Vegreville.

Im still hoping. God be with us.

My PR application got rejected yesterday.

You are not a member of the class because you have not complied with the requirements for

membership in the class as described in paragraph 112 of the Regulations, and as required by

Paragraph 115 of the Regulations. Specifically, you did not apply for, nor were you examined

for admission into the Live-in Caregivers Program before entering Canada.

Anyone has any advice? I'm in Toronto. I've already contacted some Immigration Lawyers and I'm just waiting to hear back. I had submitted my application back in April 2015.

Hi Roah

you need to pay the 6 weeks that you are not in canada, since ur in the old rule why not use option 2, 3900 hours. you can save time for that. no need of medical just for owp. send an letter of explanation that younare not going to do medical since you had passed medicals befor and comply with the requirements ou cic.
