Good day po. Question about nxt process after receiving OWP.
What are we expecting to get soon? Will our dependents get separate notification for medical or are we the one receiving it on our mail? Thanks

hi guys i am worried because my LCP visa will expire on Dec 31,2015. i submitted my OWP/PR on nov 10. my question is do i have to extend my LMIA? please need help

I applied for my PR/OWP in the beggining of October and I received confirmation letter from CIC. It says:

'This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2015/10/08."

I'm a little bit worried, because they didn't mention anything about OWP in this e-mail. Should I call them or is this normal?

I think that's normal, in fact I never heard anyone got Confirmation about OWP when they send it together with PR application
I didn't get any confirmation about my OWP by email but I get OWP in about 2.5 months after I sent my PR/OWP application.

Hi thanks! I got one email for the AOR lang. I got the open work permit thru mail.

October 9,2015- acknowledging receipt

Still waiting for an open work permit..

Newbie I got mine on monday I was so excited bt I give all the glory to God.now let's wait for the medical and I was wondering wether to change my address with cic because I gave my employer a notice to end my contract the second week of January.
