Let share Preparations/Timelines for 2015 Live In Caregiver PR/OWP Applications

Hi guys, just an update. Aug. 20, 2015, I receive both AIP and Interview schedule for my PR. I'm so happy. This is it!!! Just 1 step away to the finish line. I'm LICP- old rule, option 2. CIC received my file Feb11, 2015. OWP receive: May 2015. Interview: sept. 9. I'm from Regina SK, but interview in Saskatoon. Pray always. God is good!!!

Congrats! You have the same interview day with my sister, Sept 9, 2015 at 9:30 am. CIC- Saskatoon. Unfortunately her new passport is still in process so she will be requesting for s reschedule.

Her timeline :

Application: Nov. 28, 2014
OWP: March 2015
Case opened: January 7, 2015
DECISION MADE: August 20, 2015
Interview Date/landing: Sept. 9, 2015

Does anybody knows if I apply for Employment Insurance will affect my application for open work or PR coz the CIC can see it online? I was laid off. thx

Feb 5 : may application was recvd by CIC
March 7: confirmation email that they've received my document
April 10 : owp
--- i kept on checking my e-cas since march but it only say application received until last week, maybe around tuesday it was changed to "in process" then thursday to "decision made" . I have not receive any AIP , email that they started processing it or now that the decision has been made. I'm not worried though .... At least i know from e-cas that they are doing somethinng good about my papers. My question now is , does anyone know what "decision made " really mean? Does it mean approved? Is interview the nxt step? Thanks! And God bless everyone!

Dont stress too much most questions are personal just to confirm your identity like your name, bday, date and place of original entry, any depndents, marital status, employed or not, address, then there are 3 questions that are standard questions: if you commit any criminal act or you know of any criminal charges agaisnt you, if you received a notice or you've been asked to leave Canada and if you applied for any government social assistance. Bring all the documents written on your appointment letter. DO NOT FORGET THEM or else they might refuse your landing.

Feb 4-cic received my application
Mar4-AOR
Aug 24- received email for interview
Sept 15- interview cic-ottawa

My ecas-stated that my application was on process since march 3

I checked my OWP again and it was approved on August 19. sorry for the mistake
I got it in my mail on 24 August and I am living in the same province as Vegreville.
CIC indeed work fast
