Hi guys, has anyone here applied for TRV renewal online? Why does it say that you need to get another medical for TRV renewal? I am not familiar with this, do you really need to do this? Because I applied thru paper last year and I did not need to submit any medical, thanks to anyone who can answer.
I applied for a TRV last year but it was paper application. I filled in the form paid the fees and letter of employment and prepaid envelope and that was it. I dont believe certain information is for you unless they request it.

Hi Lanina, regarding your question about open work permits, did you indicate your email address on your application? I think you'll get an email about it if it is approved.
My fiancée applied on May 18th 2017 for her PR and OP as she is single. She applied under the old Live-in Caregiver pathway. Does anyone know what timeline we can expect?
My sister submit her PR august 2015 no medical request yet. Quebec province. What about you? And her owp will expire November 2017 only 2 Yrs

Watch out for news that Bill C-6 which will come into effect which reduces times for citizenship 3/5 year and time can be calculated before PR towards that to a maximum of 365 days which counts as half days towards citizenship.
From my reading not all our time here as workers can count but a limited part. But at least its something and reduction to 3 years out of 5 years is good.
