Hi everyone.
I just wanted to share my timeline.
Applied for pr : July 2017
Received Owp: October 2017
Eligibility letter for pr: January 2018

Does anyone knows what happens after the eligibility letter? Am I supposed to get medical exams? I thought live in caregiver didn’t have to take their exams again.
How long after the eligibility letter people get their pr?
Good luck to everyone who is waiting on their pr!
Hello
Processing time has been changed to one year...so hopefully we all get pr within one year...They can request for medical if they want...if you have family in back home then they will contact them for further processing and medical as well...Good luck !

No they don't cancel your work permit...

"Yes. You can have two valid permits at the same time under International Experience Canada (IEC). If you receive an invitation to apply, you can apply for an IEC work permit even if you have a valid study permit. You can also apply for a study permit if you have a valid work permit through IEC.

IEC is not meant for foreign youth who plan to study in Canada for more than six months during their IEC participation. If you want to study in Canada for more than six months, you must apply for a study permit."...

Thank you so much for you reply.
As I mentioned in my timeline, I sent my online application one month ago (Nov, 19). So what do you mean by "newpath" and "old one"?
I just want to know what stage I am in? And what will happen next?

I think you’re in the wrong thread Alireza_njm. This thread is for Caregivers, applying for PR. :)
