I'm on the process of sponsoring my wife who resides in another country and I made a very detailed letter that is a little bit above four pages and a half.
I would like to know how long does the love letter has to be and how detailed? Thanks

This is not a requirement on the application checklist. Therefore it is considered as an explanation letter, which technically doesn't have a limit. But yours does sound excessively long, and I'm sure you can shorten it down to 2 pages, which is a more reasonable length. Just think about the officer, and try not to make their life difficult.
