Lenght of Postgraduate Work Permit

What would be the lenght of Postgraduate Work Permit after one year programm wit CO-OP ( 8 month program and 4 month CO-OP):
1. 8 month
2. 1 year
???

I couldnt find clear information about how program with CO-OP would calcuated for the PGWP.
CIC says not less the duration of study. Duration of my study is 12 month with CO-OP. So PGWP will be 12 month too or 8?

i think 12 months....i have a question too...if we get a job on our pgwp...would that permit extended to continue the job if our pr process aint complete or not being done.....

How soon can we apply for a PR after starting work on a 1 year work permit and how much time does usually take after applying for a PR within Canada for an Indian.
