Legitimacy and Worth of Low-Wage or Blue-Collar Jobs in Canada?

Hi!

Several websites, newspaper ads and even Facebook pages (like this one) often advertise some (usually) not-very-interesting, unskilled & under-paid jobs in Canada.
Jobs like Factory Workers, Farm Workers, Cashiers, Call Center Agents, Logistic Workers etc.
Jobs that really don't demand much skills except the ability to move and lift weight etc.

What's the legitimacy of these job ads? Are they just to get attention or are for real?
What's the catch? Why aren't they filled quickly because non-degree holders should be tempted by these?

One thing I have noticed is that these positions are usually not based in the major cities or hubs like Vancouver or Toronto. Instead in Alberta or New Brunswick etc.

Check the attached Facebook page and share if anyone of you can manage to find any legitimate offer.
Frankly I don't mind working for UPS Couriers or as a baggage handler at an Airport if it pays me enough to buy food and watch TV. :)

Looking Forward.
Thanks for reading.

If you manage to get a work visa or a PR then getting the transitional/minimum wage jobs is super easy. Just show up and tell them that you are interested in working. Once you are here try for the unionised jobs like bus driver or mail courier as you look for your full time job in your noc category.

Haha, yeah of course. But that's the whole point isn't it. I only want these jobs to be able to immigrate. Once I am here I would rather work as a trainee software developer or something in the STEM. I am educated after all.
The whole point of this thread is to be able to get a job offer. Any job that is hard to be filled in Canada. So, that the employer is willing to try for an LMIA and the government is willing to sign it.

I understand this is more of a day dream now, those times are long gone; when people were invited to start a farm or become a construction labor and have a new future. Laborers or truck drivers are still required but they need experience even for that now.

Anyways, thanks.

I highly recommend learning - jobs that require you to PAY are scams. Avoid at all costs. As for those low pay jobs, for the interim, can prove to be good catches because, when combined with another job and maybe a twice-a-month gig, one can earn enough $$ to live comfortably. I'd also recommend taking this time to spend some of that $$ towards saving $$ and furthering one's education in a college, or apprenticeship program.
