Hello guys!!! I have a question about the documents to attach to my study permit application.
I almost have the financial means to stay in Canada during my 1st year of study, and I am also attaching an affidavit from my parents saying they will support me for the second year. I couldn’t get their birth certificates though, since they were born in very small cities and to get them would take more time and I want to submit my application these days. I was thinking on attaching a legalized photocopy of their National ID card by a public notary instead, and that added to my birth certificate where their names appear as my parents to prove our link. Would it be enough? I see many videos from different successful applicants who mention they attached their sponsor birth certificates and that makes me doubt about how necessary is to send the birth certificate and not the ID card legalized photocopy
I would appreciate your help with some comments about it. Thanks a lot in advance
