Legal Working Hours/Week Query.

Hello,

I know 20 hours per week is the legal limit for students to work. I wanted to know if some one works more than this(if one is lucky to get more work), Are there any legal consequences or problems when applying for a STUDY permit extension?

Of course, during regular semester if you work more than 20 hours there can be some issues like if someone reports that you are over working then they can send you back to your home country. However you can work more during your semester breaks. Keep in mind that you can never pay your tution fees while working part time in Canada. You can earn and cover your living expenses though .
