Legal status in Canada changes while applying for PR

Hi all,
Happy holidays!!
I have 3 questions which need your kind attention please.
Now on work permit and confident enough to have ITA very soon, and will be back to school in summer 2020.
1) Can I apply for study permit after clicking on "continue application" upon ITA?
2) Let's assume, after I get study permit, I'll have to submit PR application. As I'm submitting application while on study permit but I started application while on work permit? What would be my current status then?
3) If current status is "student", do I need to show "proof of fund" required for one person which is 12,669 CAD?
Plz, help!

If invited under CEC, you don't have to show proof of funds regardless of your status.

Just take note that under CEC, your work experience will not be counted if you are a full-time student.

If I am right, you are international student in Canada, you're on study permit. And once you got ITA and apply for PR. You will be on implied status.
