Legal status change Separated to Divoce post COPR

Dear All,

I have received my COPR and also one time stamp. Meanwhile, our divorce case in court is also settled and I can get divorce degree if I apply within 3 days. If I inform IRCC now, will they ask for me to submit my passport again?

As long as you were listed as separated and your spouse was not included in your app, no, you won't have to submit your passport again.

You MUST inform IRCC of any change to family status before you land. It sounds like you applied as married, and now you are not - is that true?

You should send the divorce certificate to IRCC as soon as you get it, but as long as your ex-spouse was not included on the application, it won´t have any real impact on your application, and your current COPR will be fine.
