Left my job after 3 years in home country,do i need a job while applying for PR?

hi,
I have 3.1 years of work experience with same IT company,but i left my job recently and currently i don't have a job.
Is this necessary to have a running job related to your NOC while applying for canada PR or only relevant experience in the past is enough?
If it's ok to don't have a job while applying,do they ask for the reason of gap(no work)?
Please advise on this issue.

No, you don't even have to be employed at all while applying for PR, your previous experience will suffice and no questions are asked. Good Luck!

One more reason to not pay any consultant for your application. I asked few of them and they all said you have to be employed while applying.
