Left Canada - returned - but no stamp means no visitor visa?

My wife is a visitor to Canada. Her visitor visa expires January 21, 2015 (not re-entry visa).

She went outside of the country (not US) November 2014, came back to Toronto December 2014, but she didn't get the stamp on her passport. Maybe because they saw that she had a visitors Visa already from before..

Does this mean her visitors visa expired on January 21, 2015? or she probably got a new 6 month visitor visa on December 2014 when she entered to Canada (but immigration officer just forgot to stamp it?)

Is there anywhere we can find out about her current status in Canada? like.. expired visa, or good standing till May 2015..
Are we able to travel to US or other country and come back to Canada safely and get a new visitors visa if this is the case?
Or do we have to pay the $200 fee for expired visa renewal that is allowed up to 90 days after the expiry.

You are confusing terms, thus confusing us.

A TRV is a sticker in her passport.
A Visitor Status is what she is given when entering Canada.

You need to tell us what dates correspond to which.

For example:
A TRV can't be renewed. You have to apply again and its cost is 100 dollars.
A visitor status is given on each successful entry to the country, it can be up to 6 months.

If you do't know the terms or are unsure do some research.

** As a tip, try not using "visitor visa" to explain your case. There is no such thing as a "visitor visa".

I meant to say that she had a Visitor status renewed online for $100 till 2015/1/21.

South Koreans are TRV exempt I believe. So we dont get stickers on passport for entry to Canada.
When we enter the country, we just get stamp and the officer writes down with pen when we have to leave the country by. Usually 6 months.

Now is February 24, 2015.. so her visitor status has expired because she didn't get a stamp on her last trip in December 2014?
or Did she automatically receive another 6 month when she returned to canada December 2014 and the officer simply forgot to stamp her passport?
