Leaving the job after completing more than one year for CEC

Hi everyone,

I have a question about my closed work permit.

I am currently on a closed work permit until the end of 2023. and plan to apply for CEC next year for express entry after I accumulated one year of working experience.
However I want to change a job since this current job hasn't bring me valuable experience, also there are the other opportunities is reaching out.
My questions is, what is my visa status after I filed my PR application sometime next year? Am I able to change my job under that situation ?

Suggestion is deeply appreciated so I can plan my case ahead

You can change jobs in one of two ways:
(1) find a new employer who gives you a new job offer and approved LMIA so that you can then apply for a new closed work permit
(2) apply for a bridging open work permit after you have received ITA and submitted your complete CEC application - however you'll only qualify for a BOWP once your current work permit is expiring within 4 months, so that means you'll have to wait until mid / late 2023 before you'll be able to submit your BOWP application
