Leaving job after submission of Post-ITA application

Dear All,

Requesting your expert advice on the following matter:

I have submitted my post ITA application on 8 April 2017. I have applied in the skilled worker category under the following NOC codes:

NOC 1111 (primary occupation code)- previous work experience of 2 years and 3 months.
NOC 1112- current job for which the work experience certificate that was issued in March 2017 stated the duration of my experience from October 2014 till date.

Now my query is, in the upcoming months I have to appear for a few exams and hence need to leave my current job in order to study for these exams. If I leave my job now, will this affect my application in anyway?

It should not affect your application as your situation changed after you submitted the application.

Could you also advise whether or not I need to update CIC in this regards? If yes, what documentation do I then need to provide?
