Leaving Canada while PR in progress?

Basically, the subj.

I've applied for PR to Buffalo while in Canada and have only got AOR. I will qualify only 'cause was working for 1+ year here at the time of application. Neither i'm on 38 list, nor have AEO.

So, what will happen to application if i'll leave country for a long term? Will it be still finalized and will i be able to get PR? (Actually i'm planning to return back when i will get it).

I obviously won't be able to reapply from somewhere else 'cause i'm not on 38 list.

Any ideas?

you can ask to transfer your file to your country visa officer and ask them to process, also once you get stamped visa u hve to arrive in canada before its expiry date & complete the formality of PR & other things (you should wait in canada until you get all this or give ur friends address & fly back), you have to spend 1095 days in 5yrs cumulative for PR renewal or citizen application
