Leaving Canada while awaiting decision on work permit extension?

Will I be let back into the country if I submit my work permit extension (non LMIA - intra company transfer), go on holiday for a week and then try to re-enter Canada?

Is it better to just wait until I return to Canada and then submit my work permit extension?

Will you have valid status when you come back?

As your current work permit is valid until Jan 2016, there should be no issues re-entering Canada. It won't make any difference to entry if you apply for the extension now or wait until after you return from your trip next month.

My wp was valid untill 31 of august, I came back from Europe on the 27th of august, with my daughter. Her study visa was expired also on 31 th august.there were no issue, but we had to proof we applied for the extension.( we sent the extension only on 24 of august,6 days before i expired-we got a lot of question about this,only. Why we did extension only 3 days ago when we come back. Officer asked that 4 times on 4 different ways)
we did proof everything, so we could came back.
