Hi all ,

who can help me planning... how to transfer money and close my current bank account before opening a bank account in canada??

how i will open my bank account before landing??

in summary, how to return to canada before PR card received? there is so many complications and wrapping before fully moving to canada.

i heard it is taking 4-5 month before the PR card is issued and they are not accepting someone to send it by mail....

any safe and clear process addressing this subject??

You can take advantage of Scotiabank's start right program to open bank account from your home country.

You can leave the country before receiving your PR card. You need to have a Canadian residential address of some family or friend. Your PR card will come via mail to the address mentioned.

They can then FedEx your PR card.

Thank you so much for your reply. I heard there is a new law that won't allow you to enter with your PR card if you did not exit with it.. Is it true???

Pretty sure they don't ask for your visa when you're exiting the country.

When you go out...Airport officers only care if you have permission to go to your final destination.,,Even if they ask u your legal status in Canada, show them COPR..Its a legal document..
