Hello,

I just wondered I'm on a temporary visitors visa, which expires 9th Aug 2013, and will be leaving the country a couple days before.

Can I return once I have left ,I want to come back in September, just as a regular visitor ( I would like return a 2 or three times through the year to visit my boyfriend) ?

I will have a return flight booked back to the UK with me any time I come, as I have to be back for work.

Would there be a problem, as in is it 6months in, 6months out or should I be ok, if Im doing everything by the book, leaving when I should on my temporary visa and returning in Sept with a return flight to UK ?

Thanks so much for any advice.

you will need a new visa after August 9 2013 (Assuming this is the date stamped on your passport for permitted duration in Canada)
If you intend to return in September after the expiration of your current visa, you will need to reapply for a multiple entry TRV assuming you will like to visit more than once.

There is no such thing as 6 months in 6 months out for TRV. you enter Canada on a TRV and allowed to stay up until the permitted time.

If you have a multiple entry Visa, you can enter again provided the visa is still valid and can stay up until the permitted time.

Please note, the permitted time is usually at the discretion of the CBSA officer so it is not always the 6months and similarly a new visa application

is not guaranteed even if you have had one before especially if the VO thinks you are spending an unusually long duration in Canada

Good luck!!!
