Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello All,
I am currently working in Canada. I got the ITA on Dec4th and i will apply for PR by Mid Jan 2016. However due to some personal issues i might want to go to India for a month and then come back to Canada.

Should i be informing CIC about this?

Will they require a fresh PCC again?

Can there be other implications to this?

Please help !

New pcc for sure.

As long as you have multiple entry you're good to go. There shouldn't be any complications.

Thank you for replying. Appreciate it.

However i am going to India after i apply for PR. So when you meant new PCC, did you mean i should get a PCC from India when i am there?

So since i am getting a PCC after i apply for PR, how will i give it to CIC. any clues !

Pcc should be dated after you leave the country. You may send it as a case specific enquriy and a LOE. I would strongly recommend to also talk to a cic agent. The best time to call would be early in the morning.

No need to inform CIC. It's better if you apply for the Indian PCC at BLS now itself instead of India, if your passport is not required, to save you some time. You don't need a fresh PCC. Maybe you can get your medical done in India. Just a suggestion.

My ITA time ends by Feb 4th. So i have already applied for PCC(BLS) and Medicals. I am planning to go to India only by March. So, since i am going to India after applying for PR, i might need to get a new PCC may be. Not sure about medicals. But i think i need to inform CIC.

New pcc is required only if he stays in India for more than 6 months. I have seen something like this in CIC website. Will try to post the link later.

For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the PC must have been issued later than the departure date of the last time the client resided in that country for more than six months.

Thank you. Greatly appreciate it. This means i will have to get a PCC from India after i left India. Thats is in place. So even if i go to India for a month from now, i dont have to provide a PCC ! I hope my assumption is right. Not sure if i have to inform CIC. Will try to shoot them a mail.
