Leaving and Returning to Canada after Study in COVID

Hello friends,

My details of the study are:

I took two PG courses of one-year
I am finishing my studies in December 2020
My visa ends in May 2021, and
letter of enrollment has course end date of Feb 2021

I have a plan to go to India at in Feb 2021. And return after a month. I can leave the country but what are the chances of returning to Canada on a Study permit during COVID? I have not applied for a work permit yet. I am confused if I go after getting a work permit or not because it's urgent to go there.

Please guide me
