Leave of Absence from school and it’s implications

Hi all, I applied for an authorized LOA for a year starting last September but I had no idea it could affect my pgwp application as I’m an MSc student. I even worked a bit during this time and I think I’m pretty screwed. I have 3 questions:

1. Has anyone gone through this situation and what did you do?

2. What advice will you give me?

3. Finally, I entered the express entry pool successfully as I’m qualified, without further options. Will this issue affect my pr application if I’m invited to apply?

what was the reason for your LOA? Was it approved by your university?

Yes it was.

I even worked briefly during that time but stopped the moment I realized it was illegal.

We do have a chance! Hopefully... They only care that the leave was authorized by the university, they might ask us for medical proof too

Hey, this is a bit late but I’m kinda in the same boat as you. Did you end up getting your pgwp ?
