leave before approval of visitor extencionn

hello, I applied to get an extencion as a visitor for six more moths, and I haven't had any answer from CICC yet, but now I have to go back to my country in 2 days, Do I have to notify CICC that I'm leaving? or at the moment I leave canada the extencion process stops and they are aware, It's been almost 3 months since I applied for the extencion.

Hi I think leaving might not be a problem but when you are re entering you might not have valid status.Please check with someone and also let me know what happens in this situation
