Whatever name is your legal name (i.e. shown on your immigration document) should appear on your application, unless you changed it after becoming a PR (which you didn't as far as I can see). If a mistake was made on your citizenship application form (e.g. wrong letter in the name, AKA you go by daily, etc.), then you should immediately notify CIC. See the "Name Change" section on the Instruction Guide located at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp. Here's a snapshot (click to enlarge):

Thus, since your application has not yet started processing, contact CIC right away to advise. Otherwise, if by any chance it is in process, advise CIC of an error on your side, but that could be a hurdle.

i contacted wth CIC I called them today and tried to explain my mistake on question 3B, but the angent answered there was nothing i could do, i had to wait till the officer opened my application. they might return my application to request more docs or might not return. but i am thinking should i send the correct paper to CIC right away...i am not sure....or i should just resend an application without sopporting docs...really need some advise...
i have changed my name in 2007, i became PR in 2008, but all my diploma and transcript appear on my old name. that is why i misunderstanding "Name change" meaning.
