LBSF Canada for ACCA

Can any one please tell if I can apply for ACCA program after my MBA?? ACCA being a professional degree and also I also I have 5 years work experience after my MBA with all the payslips and stuff. Please advise thanks.

I wouldn't - it's a bad school. No off campus work permit. No post graduate work permit. Bad reputation with employers in Canada. I would pick a real school.

very difficult to get visa on acca. Its like a hard nut to crack with teeth. I am the upfront example

what other school can I choose for ACCA program or any other course with more or less same fees like 7000-8000$. Please advise.

Only two options;

1. MBA with GMAT score.
2. Or PG Diploma in Business Management (Chances of refusal still high!)

yes enfield is right go for gmat test with score of 540 minimum. I am only intermediate but my frnd had same case like you he was mba and then applied for acca on stouffville college but visa officer refused him that he had not studied any of the acca studies before. I know mba exempt you from 3 papers of acca but visa officer doesn't understand that logic. they check the course relevancy with your previous course of studies. I would reckon go for some master courses with the title 'busines' in the course name.

Pick a university or a public college. Stay away from private colleges (LSBF is a private college).

ok NO to LBSF forsure .....and please advise me about the Public schools in Canada if you guys know any, I shall be thankful. And I also agree I should take GMAT and score something good IA.....

P.s: when you say Public school what courses do they offer and especially after MBA?? Please advise,Many Thanks

Yaar I am a Canadian par my boyfriend got rejected twice for LSBF.Haad hogayi...reason tha its not a recognised institution! I really want to know who got visas for Lsbf toronto recently.

Sad to hear that!! but shocked too like the institution is not recognized ajeeb baat ha wasee like why are they allowing them to issue offer letters when they do not recognize such institutes and also I called LSBF people and they tell you with certainty that you will get visa and all that....aur ab to unhoo ne lawyer be hire kiya ha to look at the application in depth....when did he apply and what has he done before that?? and via any consultant or himself??

1. Private schools are eligible to offer/issue admission letter to students.
2. As a private school (LSBF) student, you are not eligible to get any work permit (off campus & Post Graduate Work Permit). And you won't be eligible to apply for PR under CEC (International Students).
3. So far on this forum, I have seen only one visa approval for LSBF.


The point is, why are you so interested in LSBF?

only lsbf and stouffville are two crap colleges offering acca in canada. apart from them no else
