layoff from restricted company but got aprroved on tracker

Hi everyone,

I can see my confirmation of permanent residency details with document number on tracker. I haven't got email for comfirmation of PR yet. (since one week ago)

However, I got layoff today.

Does it effect on my application?

I believe you have passed the admissibility requirements and hence they have approved your application . Ideally what happens after approval should not affect your PR because when they check and verified the docs everything was ok when applied .
However ,it can depend on certain specific program conditions , your program International student job offer sounds specific to a certain job, try checking in the CIC website or with a lawyer
