My bf and I were in a common law relationship

He extended his work permit application and listed me as his common law spouse. we broke up a month before his permit was approved but he didn’t send ircc a web form to let them know.

he applied for a visitor visa a few days after his work permit was approved and listed himself as separated along with the separation date.

We broke up in April, permit approved in May and he applied for the visitor visa in
the second week of May.

we are common law again and I just applied to sponsor him but I’m scared not informing ircc of the change in status for his work permit will be an issue.

I called an immigration attorney to discuss and she said there’s a very low risk of getting a procedural fairness letter and it would be best to not write a letter in advance and bring attention to it.

Are we supposed to sit in agony dreading PFL???

I have same opinion as when you last asked this. I don't see any reason to mistrust your lawyer's point of view on this.

I believe this question was already answered previously. I agree with the answer you were given earlier.
