Sounds like a very simple, straightforward application. (Well, "simple," as in no strange circumstances. The forms ARE long, and it's stressful to do that app, always worrying about forgetting something, but definitely something literate, moderately intelligent people are capable of doing on their own.) There are a few small differences between inland and outland apps (proving intent to move to/settle in Canada, a different set of forms), but neither is more complicated or difficult than the other.
