Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

Hi All,

I am waiting VISAs.

Just recieved my CAIPS, it states "Spouse Meds not on system yet, file with PPT*2 Put Away" dated 18 Feb 2013, since then everything is blank, BDEC, SDEC, FINDEC all is blank.

Against My Meds it state M01 (i believe assessed and ok)

Have called up the DMP to confirm the date when MEDs of Spouse send to NDVO...

any suggestions??

They replied that background check is outstanding and likely needs several month to finalize
Whats wrong with my status???

Also in GCMS it mentioned that
Case due to 23/4/2013 whats that mean???

dear bigboss, u r already big Boss, dont worry, bgc is normal some times it takes long time ,but still u r near to ur maple-leaf.
LVO will review ur file on due date few days early or after not necessarily n the same day, he will chck if bgc is complete then forward to the next step otherwise issue another due date which can be 2-3 months any date depending upon the progesss of ur bgc. nekeol

I am starting this thread because of repeated enquiries on how to order latest CAIPS / GCMS and what forms we need to download. So here we go once for all. Many thanks.......


1) Sir Kanamen is doing it for free.

2) But if you want to order it on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

Check this

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca


b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

Seniors and well experienced members please shed the light of your experience. I didnt get any email from LVO. I wanted to ask that are my Bg checks, Security Checks done? What will be the next step?

Security is later stage after medical. Mabrook. order gcms, I have also ordered today for GCMS. Nekeol

yes, still they can reject, but very rarely, I hope u have crossed that line, inshallah, or if u can not provide requirements. next step will be updated docs, so that they can start BGC with updated record. try to keep good history of bank account NEKEOL

My consultant told me that thy will ask for one day Bank statement. : Is that true? I am doubted about my consultant. He said my job verification is done. Lets hope and pray fr best.

@ Fazal, they will ask 6 month statement or any other proof where it is clear that this amount is from the available funds and not a temporary loan for making statement only. I will suggest you dont take risk, show them clear statement, and change your consultant, he is misguiding you and now you dont need as consultant will always delay your application.

Dear Fazal,

what your consultant is correct the Canada immigration not asked for three or six months but in the same time you can provide it will not harm your case .in my case I provide balance certificate from the bank.
