Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

I got my Caips notes through my relatives who are in Canada & are PR card holder and not the Canadian citizen yet.
Every time, they pay $5 as per their information, it is only free for Canadian citizen not for the Canadain residence.

I send my forms once again to apply for Caips notes for third time to see any thing changed after sending updated documents or not. I told once again to my uncle that it is free but he says that just for $5 dollars, calling them and wasting time is stupidness. Also he says that if it was free, they would have send the cheque back. If they took money, it means that it is not free for Residence, but only free for Canadian citizen.

You have misunderstood this one. They are paying $5 because they are ordering notes for you, if they were ordering notes for themselves they wouldn't be paying $5 and it does not matter if they are Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Hope you get the point now. Thanks

Now m much more worried as still no sign of getting MR. Already got TWO GCMS in July and October 2012. Should I again request for another GCMS? Or, I should wait in vain???? Plz suggest me...Its already 33 months completed since I applied.

Asking for GCMS again and again is not going to speed up the process or serve any purpose, we are here with more than 36 months complete and still waiting, hopefully you and we all are just 2-3 months away from MR.
Have some more patience and you will be rewarded.

Also besides waiting you cant do any other thing.

The applier always has to be a Canada Resident, that is the reason people who do not know a canadian resident have to apply from the professional websites.

The Privacy act where no fee is to be paid is if the applicant whose information is sought is residing in Canada and Access to Information act where $5 needs to be paid is for the applicant whose information is sought is not residing in Canada.

Hi!

You will be ok as long as he had paid $5. The ATIP authorities know what to do and can distinguish that you are outside Canada. You will get the right notes. Don't worry..

There is nothing mentioned in the application assignment thing, its all blank and even nobody has reviewed my file yet except at the CIO stage. Criminality is in process and selection is not started. They updated client details on 23 jan, 2013 and I can see only one due date that is 4th jan 2013 which is already gone. How much more time it will take? Its been alreeady 17 months since i have applied. Its really frustrating now to wait.

Hello I new to this thread and I want to order my gcms notes or well my husband in Canada.

Question, do I printe the concent form and email it to him? Do you guys think I can use an application I have and sign the document from my tablet? The signature is as if I had signed it on paper.

Dear I agree this is so frustrating and this waiting is killing but unfortunately we can't do much. They might be looking at your criminality right now. Just have some patience and things will get to normal.Good luck..

Yeah i agree with you, you should have got medicals by now. I think your case is still with ECU like many NDVO applicants. Did you send email enquiry recently. Better send email and see the response before ordering GCMS again. Thanks

Yes you need to send the consent form to him. Remember on consent form there should be your signature and your husband's too if applicable. In which category you have applied? Have you applied under family class? You need to fill whole consent form with your husband details, your details etc .Better fill consent form yourself and sign it then scan it and send it to your husband so he can sign it too. Thanks
