Hi my mind just keep on thinking if i will be approve for a visitor visa. I am afraid for the medical examination since I had a history of tb treatment. Last 5yrs ago i was diagnosed for TB because my xray Shows some haziness on upper lung and though my 2 sets (different institution) of sputum afb are negative with no signs and symptoms. Still ive been treated for 6mos and my pulmonologist cleared me since i completed the course. I was employed then and had my Annual physical examination since, but my xrays are unremarkable and sometimes it suggested again a apicolordotic view of my xray. Last September it shows unremarkable again. I don't know whats the problem with xray machines or the reading of radiologist. I am so afraid that i wouldn't be able to have my visa. What do you think? I really need your opinion. ☹

Hi,

I applied for PR VISA to Canada....I was suggested to get lordotic view of chest done and a scar was found in the lungs.... I was further suggested to get Pulmonology consult done and under which I got mantoux test and CT Scan done.... Skin test came out positive but I dont have any symptoms ( Doc said I dont have TB). He said the scar is due to antibiotic i took 8 years back for pneumonia.....Will I get my visa or it ll b rejected?

Plz help...I am really worried

Thanx

Hye all.
I have applied for spouse visa , my medical checked by physician and found to be inactive tb , suggested for 9 months treatment , that is about to end within few days. How much time will it take for visa after submission of all my documents..?

Due to covid 19 issue , I couldn't got appointment form panel physician , but before lockdown period I was updating my medical documents every month...will this affect my application...?
I'm worried
But now they restarted the process and have got appointment after 3 weeks of delay due to lock down.

Expect that you will need to do a sputum culture to prove that you no longer have TB. That will add many months to your application processing time.

WE GOT THIS REPORT FROM THE SPECIALIST:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

This is to certify that Mrs. Rinku Gongal Shrestha, Age 34, Female, was examined by me and she was detected to have fibrosis RUL on x-ray chest PA.

She is not symptomatic at present and has never been treated for Tuberculosis in the past. Her sputum smear for AFB and her sputum MTB culture report is negative. HRCT thorax reveals only Fibronodular and Cavitary lesions with traction and cylindrical Bronchiectasis affecting the RUL and RML possible sequelae of old, self healed Tuberculosis infection of which the patience was never aware of.

She has no evidence of active disease at present and medically fit to pursue any type of employment or job as she prefers.

WOULD THE IMMIGRATION CONSIDER IT INADMISSIBLE TO CANADA?

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE FINAL DECISION FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS. I AM REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE DELAYS?
WHAT ARE OUR CHANCES OF GETTING PR FOR CANADA???

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE.
THANKS
