Late submission of schedule A! Please reply

Hi! So my husband received an email approving his sponsorship on 2nd march and saying that I needed to submit my schedule A form. We were expecting I would receive an email too but it never came. Went on my cic account repeatedly, noticed nothing. Today I went in again and in the application submitted tab noticed the schedule a requirement by march 9. I immediately uploaded my file and it says replacement added but it’s already past the due date. Does anyone know what might happen and what I can do?

I believe it would not let you upload the Schedule A and it would have said OVERDUE. As long as you did not see that and you got to upload it I think you are safe!

I was thinking the same but it’s the 12th already and it did say required by march 9. Had no trouble submitting though, but was thinking if there might be any way to verify that it’s not going to cause any trouble

It says:

We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

Give it 48 hrs or so, it will say the additional documents you provided have been uploaded. Might even change tomorrow.

I had something like this happen to me also, I thought the docs were uploaded. I did not know I had to hit the " next " button and mine ended up being a few days late. A couple days later I saw the message about them being uploaded. Trust me, I was freaking also. But I truly believe that you would not have been able to upload them and you would get a message saying overdue.

Relax.....I know, easy to say! This is just the beginning, lots more times to freak out ahead of us!
