Hi my husband’s PR is in process as he is a refugee so we got married in a third country informed ircc they emailed us saying they would ask for further documents (schedule A etc)but even after 4 months we didn’t get any response from them so we submitted it without their request then after 3 days we received confirmation email and it has been 8 months but no response from them and every time we call them they say it’s under review you will get an email it is getting frustrating now they have not even started the procedure yet we even submitted the web form but no response I am really worried please if someone can help what to do now or is it normal?
Nope no response and no one is bothered to response here either maybe they are waiting for my husband’s PR
It has been 6 months we did the same thing but no response from IRCC. did you get any response or any news from your PR? My pr application is on 22 months right now
My husband’s pr completed on 28th December a week before that he received an email asking for our travel history and im0008 which we provided I think they have finally opened my application after a year cause they even emailed my consultant asking for the same documents
Omg, did they respond you after a year you send them a webform about your marriage? Did you try visitor visa for yourself?
We sent web forms two times but no response if your husband’s pr completion date is near then they might contact you sooner and I have not applied for visitor visa as I have not yet received my file number
That is so sad. I am losing the hope. 2 months ago they asked you additional docs and you provided them. Is there any other update or you have been waiting till then?
No updates as my husband’s pr decision is not yet given although it completed on 28th December so they definitely waiting for husband to receive his pr first so my suggestion would be to stop expecting any response until your husband gets his pr first and don’t worry it’s just a matter of time you too will get it and once you get file number you can apply for visitor visa too

There is a large backlog of P2s from 2024 that why are slowly landing.
