On January 2016, I have sent an a sponsorship application to sponsor my wife, on April I was accepted as a sponsor and I was requested to submit the undertaking application so my wife can get the certificate of selection. However, due to family reasons I didn't send the undertaking to Quebec government immediately, so on late July I got an email from the embassy stating that if within 30 days they don't receive the certificate, they would process the sponsorship application without it, which means the application Will get rejected . To handle the situation, I sent the undertaking application right after I got the embassy email, and it's currently being processed ( it will take 4 to 6 weeks to complete the processing)
My question now: most probably I will miss the embassy 30 days limit by a week or two and the sponsorship application might get rejected, I've mentioned the embassy deadline in my undertaking application hopefully this will accelerate the processing in Quebec, and I have informed the embassy that the undertaking application has been sent and it's being processed now in Quebec, however I am worried that by the of deadline the embassy will process and refuse the sponsorship due to the missing selection of certificate, SO : Is there anything else I can do to avoid this situation? BTW, I only receive automatic email confirmations when I send emails to the embassy.
