Last minute issue, Photo specification in PR card

Seniors,

I need suggestion on a last minute issue..

Me and my spouse has received an email with attachment address to our Canada address that, photos provided for PR card does not meet specification. We need to provide new photos in 30 days time to address mention in post.
We could do this, but for our child we haven't received any email, rather i dont know which email they would send that or whether they would send hard copy.
We are not in Canada now, as we did our soft landing only.

Any body faced this photo specification issue for PR card and what was the result?
Is that an issue we send courier from outside Canada for respective document?
What about our child's photo as we haven't received any email?

For how many days did u live in Canada after landing for the first time ?

Do you know what the issue is with the photo? Generally, the requirements are not very difficult to meet. I always click the photos myself and get them cut to size using 123passportphotos or similar websites.

I checked the old photo which submitted along with application. It has a 5mm more in length. I have taken it from a studio that prints for canada PR, but they gave like that.
I assume that might be the issue
