Last Medical Done in Jan 2017, applying for CEC this month, Do I need a new medical test?

Nope. It is not needed as your current medical still valid (actually up to year).

Medical exams are valid for 12 months so you should be good to go as far as the application is concerned. You may, however, have to go through another exam if you don't manage to get your PR & do your "landing" until January 2018.
