Hi,

I've been nominated by Ontario, using the Employer driven program for International Student with job offer.
My job is NOC B.

The document checklist has the language test as mandatory to submit, but I believe it's not applicable to me.

I found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/pnp.asp

I think it clearly states that NOC C and D must have a language test, unless they are in one if the exception categories.
I can't seem to find however anything that mentions NOC O, A and B regarding language requirements for PNP nominees.

That makes me think they imply that PNP nominees in NOC O,A,B do not need language test when they apply for PR. I certainly did not need one to get the nomination.

I might be paranoid, but I'd expect to find that somewhere clearly mentioned in IRCC website..

Any thoughts/experience/input?

Thanks!

I applied for O-PNP in the same stream way back in 2nd half of 2010 and then applied for PR in Jan, 2011. I was a NOC A. I didn't have to provide any language test for PR application. I followed CIC-Buffalo's checklist (E37048). As far I remember your degree certificate is good enough for nominee application and then nomination certificate is good enough to prove that you met all other criteria for PR application.

I tried to find the specific writing that NOC 0, A or B don't require language testing on CIC website, but failed. The document checklist says the same thing for NOC C & D.
