Language requirements and EOI

Hi,
I got the news that they will use EOI instead of the old system. is this right ? any news when we can start to apply ?

Also I read in this url the new language requirements. the minimum is band 4 ?

No that language requirement is for citizenship applications.

wow so the Canadian EoI will not have language requirements???

New minimum IELTS score for FSW is set at band 6 for each category. EOI is expected to be implemented sometime in 2014/2015, but no set date yet. It will depend on how CIC does with clearing the current backlog. Requirements for EOI will most likely be similar or even HIGHER than the current requirements for FSW.
