I would appreciate if someone could help me with the following enquiry:

I applied for immigration to Canada as a skill worker. I submitted the original copy of my IELTS test i did in March 2007 to process my immigration file, the process took about 5 years and I did my landing in July 2012.
Can I use the result of the IELTS Test I did in March 2007 (specifically done for Immigration to Canada) to submit the copy with my citizenship application (I'll submit the application end of Aug, 2016)?

Thank you for your help.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
As per the guide for the application under section 2: .... in speaking and listening either done previously for immigration purposes (acceptable even if expired) or done specifically for citizenship purposes... you should be OK using your previous IELTS test. It has to be the general training, not the academic version and must be 4.0 or higher.

Thanks so much for the clarification. Yes, I have scored 8 in speaking and 7.5 in reading. My only worry was the date of the ILETS test taken in 2007. By the way, does IRCC keep our initial files submitted for immigration to Canada from 2007? would they access/review those same files when they review a citizenship application? or is it only the citizenship application and the new sets of documents we submit?

Thanks again
