Hello,
I am currently in process to fill the citizenship application for my wife. She became PR through spousal sponsorship thus did not require language testing prior to today.
She completed in Winnipeg a EAL placement test and received a Adult EAL Referral Form from July 18th, 2018 that indicated that she is above 4 in all categories as CLBPT (Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test). Would this document suffice to pass the requirement or are we better off getting another test.
This is what it says on the CIC website which does not explicitly mentions the document:
"Submit a copy of the Manitoba Canadian Language Benchmark Report or an Adult English as an Additional Language (EAL) student progress report from Manitoba government. Make sure it shows your speaking and listening skills are at CLB/NCLC level 4 or higher."
To add further difficulty, we have since relocated to Ottawa.
Thank you in advance!
