language requirement for citizenship

I have a graduate diploma (IT) from UK (equal to Bsc Honors) and its transcript. The medium was obviously English but its not mentioned in the diploma.

Will this be accepted as language requirements because UK is English speaking country which makes it obvious that language was English ?

1. No, you will require a letter from the school stating that the language of instruction was in English.

Here is what CIC says.

Your proof must be in English or French. If it’s in another language, you must also send a certified English or French translation. The translation should show that the language of instruction of the program was English or French

No it is not. According to the website, either a degree/diploma/certificate/transcript from post-secondary institution(s) stating the medium of teaching is in English OR a copy of accepted tests such as IELTS or CELPIP.

I did the IELTS for PR application but if I am not mistaken I submitted the original to CIC in application, now I don't have a copy.
Also I did IELTS in a different country far away from here.

Does the same stand true if the degree was obtained in Canada? Do I need my university to write a letter indicating that the medium was English?

You can submit your diploma certificate and your transcript I don't think you need to do ielts .

I have a master degree from UK and it was OK as a language proof , I already got my citizenship an year ago and I didn’t submit any proof other than this UK master degree , so don’t worry at all

I asked another lady , she has diploma from India and has already applied for Citizenship , she also gave just her Transcript , and she already got her finger prints test.
