Hello,
I just got my application returned from CIC stating that my CLB Benchmark results dated June 2015, with scores Level 8 for reading, writing, listening and speaking was not an acceptable language proficiency proof. I am a resident of Ontario, can anyone guide me regarding what other documentation are acceptable to CIC. This test was taken through YMCA.

This happened to me also. My CLB was also not accepted and was returned initially. I then took the CELPIP-LS exam and send it again with the result. Overall it did not affected my timeline much as it took 1 week to book the exam here in Vancouver and another 10 days for result. Roughly I lost a month only in the process.

hi, please refer to Step 1. Gather documents and 2. Language proof if you are 18-64 years of age here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp#crr

Good luck!
